February 14, 2019
Hope everyone enjoyed the extra couple days off and were able to have fun in the snow!
There is No School on Friday, February 15 and Monday February 18.
If your child and/or you are interested in marching in the St. Patrick's Day parade, your child can pick up a notice at the office next week.
Please be sure your child is practicing their multiplication facts daily. It's hard in our busy times to stop to practice, but have them tell you some facts while driving or at breakfast! The more they practice the better they will get!!
If you haven't signed up for Remind, be sure to do so! Get info right to your phone! I do send out remind messages, so please let me know if you are not receiving them.
In Language Arts we have been talking about the theme, or the author's main message of a story. In Math we continued working hard on division. Please be sure your child is working on their facts daily. The more they practice, the easier the facts will come to them! In Social Studies we are discussing Black History Month and studying Jackie Robinson. In Science we talked about simple machines.
I will update weekly Spelling words. I will send home a hard copy as well as have them listed here. Please find the tab named Spelling Words if needed.
Please be sure to sign your child's assignment pad each night. They will list their homework as well as any notes you may need to know. Thank you!
Please check back weekly as I update every Friday.
Have a good weekend!
