Dear Parents,

Our school year is winding down and we have a lot of fun activities coming our way!

Monday, June 3 will be our Field Day. Students may wear gym uniforms or spirit shirts. Activities will take place in the afternoon, and the weather is looking great!

Tuesday, June 4 is a gym class make up day, so students should wear gym uniforms.

Wednesday, June 5 is our Field Trip to the Maritime Aquarium. Students can wear gym uniform or spirit shirts and should pack a lunch. We should be returning to the school shortly before dismissal.

Friday, June 7 is an Early Dismissal at 12:30. Please be sure your child knows how they are getting home.

I would like to do a summer birthday/end of the year celebration during the last week of school. I will finalize a date next week and let everyone know.

Please be sure your child is practicing their multiplication facts daily. It's hard in our busy times to stop to practice, but have them tell you some facts while driving or at breakfast! The more they practice the better they will get!!ur Fi

In Language Arts we have been talking about making inferences. In Math we moved on to geometry, discussing lines, line segments and rays. In Social Studies we continued map skills. In Science we discussed Earth Day and ways we can help the Earth.

I will update weekly Spelling words. I will send home a hard copy as well as have them listed here. Please find the tab named Spelling Words if needed.

Please be sure to sign your child's assignment pad each night. They will list their homework as well as any notes you may need to know. Thank you!

Please check back weekly as I update every Friday.

Have a good weekend!
